Learn

Good Shepherd College

The goal of Good Shepherd College (GSC) is to learn God’s word and truth in order to lead others in spiritual care and growth. In his last letter to his beloved disciple Timothy, Paul gave the essential call of every disciple of Jesus Christ,

“What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

We are commanded to learn first and then to teach others.  It is our prayer and vision to make GSC a highly qualified theological and pastoral training for every believer to become God’s shepherd for others.

First Year Curriculum

Cornerstone Bible Study

The first course of GSC explains the most foundational doctrines of the Christian faith through biblical narratives and theological interpretation.  This sought-after class studies the doctrine of salvation, the Trinity, creation, Christ, the Holy Spirit, theological anthropology, and the last days in an engaging way that makes the core Christian beliefs easy for everyone to understand and appreciate.

Purpose Driven Life

The goal of our Purpose Driven Life class is double-fold.  First, we introduce the importance of daily devotion with God to every believer.  Second, the content gives an overview of Christian faith and practice in a personal and relevant way.  This study, based on Rick Warren’s international bestseller (sold over 30 million copies and second most translated book next to the Bible), is known for translating the main biblical purposes in a clear and applicable manner.

New Testament Survey

The first bible survey class guides the student to read the New Testament with study questions.  The purpose of the class is to help people not only understand the main theme of individual books, but also to appreciate the interwoven connections throughout the entire New Testament.  NTS will show a first taste of lay-friendly biblical theology.
